The Way Martial Arts is about developing the individual student in a familial setting. The student will be mentored to build resilience and determination. Our aim is to teach self defence in a holistic manner. We aim to teach Taekwondo, Hapkido and a mix of other martial arts to develop the individual physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Our curriculum includes activities that build on their gratitude, resilience, awareness, discipline and self-esteem. they will learn skills that will be important in their lives.
The Way is an attitude, a belief, a value. It will show the way to a happier and more fulfilling life.
The Master: Teacher, Mentor, Master
Roshan Sabapathy holds a 4th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo and a 1st Dan Black Belt in Hapkido.
Roshan is also a teacher for more than 20 years. Throughout his career, he has always been a champion of holistic education. He brought Martial Art into every school he taught at and saw how the art benefitted the students in achieving academically.
Roshan is also an ardent believer in teaching students about resilience and emotional regulation. He incorporated all the different techniques in his classroom teaching.
Master Roshan now wants to take his skills beyond the classroom and provide opportunities for all, young and old, to reap the benefits of a True Martial Arts that is aimed at pursuing refinement of self, without comparison but with compassion.
