Correct trimming of a horse’s foot is the most crucial part in hoof care.
Equally as important is the balancing of the foot in accordance with the individual horse’s makeup.
Correct shoeing, if required, is the second most important along with nutrition and environmental conditions.
There are more horses that go lame due to incorrect trimming than I care to mention.
Consult your Farrier on any hoof issues, after all, your horse’s comfort should be priority.
