Yes, even Chrome Plated Plastic Car Emblems can be effectively gold plated with this service.
There are two sides to the business:
- A mobile service, where the 24karat gold plating service is conducted on site without removing the item from where it's fixed e.g. car emblems, seat belt buckles, bathroom accessories etc
- A service for loose items, such as golf clubs, car rims, musical instruments etc where the items are gold plated in a workshop environment.
Quoting for an unseen item is difficult, as the surface destined to be electroplated with 24 karat gold must be as perfect as possible to achieve the perfect finish you expect.
With relatively new items, this isn't a problem. But when an item needs a degree of preparatory work before the gold plating steps can commence, this adds to the time and the overall cost.
For items that have repeated physical contact e.g. door handles and money boxes, I also offer a clear coating service, that protects the gold from undue physical wear and requires no polishing to preserve that brilliant 24karat gold lustre !
