There is the famous Pretoria Hotel which faces both the riverfront and your shack, the Mannum Hotel for a mid range meal, the Mannum Motel does a fabulous Sunday brekkie. Then of course the bakery, the takeways or cafe's. If you don't have your own, you can hire everything from a canoe to a ski boat at the SA Ski Boat centre in the main street. A canoe is a wonderful way to discover the mighty Murray River. If that sounds too exhausting, take a short cruise with Jester, or on selected dates the restored paddle steamer the Mary-Ann. Both are inexpensive ways to take in the sights. If you are visiting on the during the first Sunday of the month, you can wander through the Trash n Treasure.
