Every student has their own preference when it comes to music. The Weston Creek School of Music acknowledges individual tastes and prides itself on including Rock, Metal, Pop and Classical with the expanding curriculum.
Students have the opportunity to practice with one off backing tracks specifically composed to ensure students gain the most enjoyment from both their lessons and their individual practice.
All ranges of abilities and age groups are catered for. The principal teacher has qualifications in early childhood, adolescent and adult learning and each student will be reading music straight off the manuscript and performing within one lesson because of the uniquely designed curriculum.
The recommend lesson time is once a week for 30 minutes and the beauty of the Weston Creek School of Music is that lessons can occur at a time that best suits. Students are not booked into a vacant time slot, it is negotiated with each student individually. This is something very unique to music teaching within the ACT. Everyone is busy and The Weston Creek School of Music will do whatever we can to fit lesson times into your busy schedule.
