My Piano School is part of MGS Music which also manages My Guitar School and My Vocal School. MGS Music offers fun, friendly and affordable group and private guitar, piano/keyboard, vocal lessons for all ages (children, teens & adults) and all levels of experience (beginner, intermediate & advanced).
At My Piano School, our piano/keyboard lessons are designed to allow students to learn privately or within a group at an easy and fun pace. They are designed so that most beginner students can be playing at a fairly high quality after only a few lessons. We use the Bastien Piano Basics Series and Older Beginner Piano Library, which include a wide range of piano pieces, theory concepts and technical exercises for beginners of all ages.
Students are provided with opportunities to improvise to various chord progressions with the aim of helping them to compose their own songs and melodies. An important focus of our piano/keyboard lessons is to equip our students so they can play and perform together in ensembles or bands. Students learn to do this by being given the opportunity to learn how to accompany their own singing or other music that students are singing and playing. Students will also be able to perform their favourite songs once the required chords are learnt.
Our curriculum covers a broad range of styles including Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Classical allowing for plenty of variety in the way you want to play the piano/keyboard. So if you have always wanted to learn to play the piano, enrol in My Piano School.
