Violin lessons and tuition in music theory. Hornsby, Castle Hill and Galston areas. Examinations are available for those wanting them. I also advocate the use of duet material for students in order to develop ensemble skills. Lesson fee is $25 per half hour. Lessons are either in my home or yours. If I travel to a student a $15 surcharge applies (i.e. half hour lesson $40, one hour $65). For new students I offer the first lesson as a free introductory session, in which we can meet and I can asses your needs and level of playing if you have already previously learned music. Qualifications: Bachelor of Music with 1st class honours (UNSW), currently undertaking PhD in musicology.
