IBA (International Brain Academy) is a music school that uses music tuition as a tool to develop brain functions and mental skills such as networked thinking.
Our pedagogical approach, developed by Professor Wei Tsin Fu, is based on science from recent brain research. Our unique teaching methods improve intelligence in all areas such as: IQ (Intelligent Quotient), EQ (Emotional Quotient), music, the languages and the arts, as well as improving co-ordination.
The music lessons are used as a vehicle to train the brain to use 'networked thinking' in order to develop child prodigies. 'Networked thinking' also helps students' academic and professional lives.
The IBA is an international organisation with schools established in four continents. All the schools in Australia are locally run.
We have schools at Balwyn, Dandenong, Glen Waverly, Chatswood, Castle Hill, and Hurstville. Our head office is at Kingsford, with outlets opening soon in Brisbane and Perth.
