Rhythm 'n' Rhyme - It's Music Time. Rhythm 'n' Rhyme Music is a fun and educational music program for ages 0 - 5 years. Children learn the fun way through songs, rhymes, instruments, movement, musical stories and games.
Rhythm 'n' Rhyme is based on the philosophy of the prominent music educators: Kodaly and Orff. This way of teaching music inspires creativity and imagination. Children develop their voice as the most important instrument and discover musical experiences through the process of: saying, singing, moving, dancing, playing and creating.
Music activites are designed to enhance each child's potential in all areas of development: physical, intellectual, emotional and social.
Rhythm 'n' Rhyme's goal is to foster a lifelong love of music in children, which will lay the foundation for more formal music learning later.
Rhythm 'n' Rhyme classes include:
Puppets, colourful props, instruments and musical stories to engage children in active music making.
Musical themes each term include: Transport, Jungle, Animals, Gardens, Weather....
A developmental approach for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.
Classes are limited to a maximum of 10 children who attend with their parent / carer.
This provides an optimum learning environment and ensures individual attention.
Elements such as beat, rhythm, pitch, dynamics and tempo are explored in diverse and exciting ways each week.
