IMPACT Community Services supports people living in the Bundaberg and North Burnett regions who may be experiencing disadvantage, poverty or exclusion from social and employment networks. We help individuals and families build resilience and reconnect with the community in a positive way to realise an improved quality of life.
We help build personal and community capacity. Each year 4,000 people access a broad range of social support, training and employment services. Our services help people build strong personal networks, increase confidence and self-esteem, strengthen relationships and develop friendship groups. Support provided by IMPACT helps people build skills and abilities which improve personal, independent living and work skills.
IMPACT is committed to delivering our services in a person-centred way which means the person receiving the service is at the centre, making decisions about their own goals and how they wish to achieve those goals. We welcome families and support networks into our supportive and caring environment.
We recognise and promote the diversity of cultures in our community. People bring with them different values and experiences and these differences contribute to the promotion of an inclusive environment at IMPACT based on mutual respect and understanding.
