Resthaven Western Community Services offer in-home support services, exercise and social groups for older people who live in the western metropolitan and inner northern metropolitan region. Carer respite is provided, one to one in the person's home, and through small groups at Regency Cottage.
Resthaven Western Community Services offers a wide range of flexible services so that you are able to live independently at home.
Support provided by trained Resthaven home support workers may include help with household tasks, home maintenance, shopping, social activities, keeping healthy, personal care and nursing care.
Practical support assists older people and their carers to:
Stay living at home
Stay independent and in charge of their own life
Keep in touch with family, friends and the community
Keep leading a healthy and fulfilling life
Keep contributing to the community.
Resthaven staff coordinate all Home Support Services, delivered in your home by trained Resthaven home support worker or one of our Community Services sites near you.
Respite for Carers is also available at Regency Cottage and other local centres.
