The Think Pink Foundation is an independent, volunteer based charity whose mission is to raise funds to provide financial and emotional support to breast cancer patients. We fund worthy projects that help provide breast cancer patients with information and counselling. We also provide funds to patients who are in financial need to help them through their journey with breast cancer.
No doubt, you too have been touched by the effects of breast cancer. If not a member of your family, you will know of someone’s mother, daughter, sister, wife or best friend who has been afflicted by this disease. One in eleven Australian women are.
Whilst research is continuing in the quest for a cure, there are very real needs for those women now living the fight for survival. When you are undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, it’s hard to hold down a job. The bills continue to roll in. The struggle to live is compounded by the struggle to survive.
Our charter is to help these women and their families now. In practical ways.
Simply put, we focus all of our energies and passion on the provision of financial and emotional support for women with breast cancer who are in desperate need.
Since 2002, Think Pink has, through its association with CISS, (the Cancer Information and Support Service at Cancer Council Victoria) provided over $1,000,000 to help patients and their families.
The breast cancer journey is a difficult one for anyone to experience even with great wealth, access to good medical care and full support of family and friends. Our aim is to be there for any breast cancer patient in financial and/or emotional need and we dedicate our efforts and the funds we raise to them and their families.
Please help us to help them by being a part of our efforts in any way that you can.
