Comprehensive Ophthalmologist/Eye Specialist, cataract and oculoplastic surgeon. Special interests include cataract surgery, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty, ectropion/entropion repair, ptosis surgery, surgical treatment of eyelid tumours), and tear duct surgery for watery eye treatment including endoscopic (scarless) DCR.
Dr Tan completed her undergraduate medical degree at The University of Sydney. She undertook specialist ophthalmology training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. Jennifer then completed a Cataract Fellowship at Monash Hospital, Victoria's largest cataract service provider, where she gained substantial experience in cataract surgery. She then undertook further sub-specialty training in oculoplastics through the prestigious Orbital Plastics and Lacrimal Fellowship at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
