The Department of Health has recommended that for the safety of staff and patients, optometrists should only see urgent cases.
Examples of urgent cases that we believe should be assessed include:
Replacement of broken or lost glasses
Flashes of light in your vision
New floaters or spots in your vision
Sudden or recent change in vision
Eye pain
Red eyes
GP or specialist recommendation
Uncomfortable contact lens wear
Drivers Licence Vision Screening
