Established in 1980, Cooper and Lourie Family Optometrists are one of Perth's oldest independent practices. Principals Geoff Cooper and Julie Lourie each have nearly 40 years of clinical experience. Our Optometrists are therapeutically qualified enabling them to prescribe medications for a wide variety of eye problems.
We cover over 1200 frames in each practice ranging from the budget to designer frames.

As an independent practice we are free to source spectacles and contact lenses from any manufacturer giving you the optimum lens design to suit your visual needs.
We are one of the few Optometrists in WA to offer Ortho-K, the incredible breakthrough technology that provides contact lenses that you wear overnight so that you have clear comfortable vision during the day without the need for spectacles or contact lenses. There is now evidence also to show that it can stop the progression of Myopia (short-sightedness) in children which s an amazing breakthrough.
We also prescribe all ther types of contact lenses including multifocal ,extended wear, daily,fortnightly and monthly disposable lenses as well as rigid gas permeable lenses.
Cooper and Lourie has invested over $350,000to acquire the most advanced equipment to help detect glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eyes in the very early stages thereby preventing and minimizing any long term damage to the eye.
All our patients receive lifetime FREE spectacle adjustment by our trained staff, as well as FREE cleaning, FREE screws and FREE nose pad replacement.
Our in house laboratory provides fast turnaround on our spectacle orders, with lenses once available fitted to frames within the hour.
WE provide personal service from a Family business and team that care.We treat our patients like our extended family.
