Dr Sep Tabatabaee has completed a three-year orthodontic training (in addition to his dental qualifications) at the University of Queensland where he obtained a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics. He is also a Member in Orthodontics, a specialist orthodontic examination directed by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Sep currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Orthodontics at Griffith University, teaching the orthodontists of the future dentists.
Dr Sep has published in different fields in dentistry including periodontics and endodontics (European Endodontic Journal) and presented his research in orthodontics at the International Association for Dental Research conference (IADR) in 2015. He regularly attends local and international conferences and belongs to several dental study groups. Sep currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Orthodontics at Griffith University, teaching the orthodontists of the future.
Sep is married to Ana (who is also a dentist) and they enjoy family time with their daughter, Lydia. If there is any time left, then playing tennis, watching a sci-fi movie or reading a thriller would be next on the list.
