Dr Huynh completed his training at The Mater Children's Hospital before working as a Staff Specialist Paediatrician / Paediatric Endocrinologist at The Canberra Hospital between 2009-2014. During this time he completed his PhD at the Center for Genetic Medicine Research at The Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC, USA.
Dr Huynh has an interest in children with special needs including those with growth delay, neurological conditions, inborn errors of metabolism, and genetic syndromes.
Dr Huynh also works with Diabetic nurse educator Rebecca Hamon in his private clinic to offer a comprehensive management of children and adolescents on either insulin pump therapy or multiple injection therapy. Services include insulin pump starts, insulin pump upgrades and continuous glucose monitoring. This service has been developed to complement the diabetes care content currently provided at the Lady Cilento Childrenâ??s Hospital.
