Union Fitness Personal Training is based in Currumbin and offers one-on-one training and group fitness classes to people of all ages and abilities!
Union Fitness is owned by Declan Scragg, a Bachelor of Medical Science and Cert IV in Fitness graduate, who has played 250+ games of first grade rugby with over 15 years of involvement in sport and fitness.
At Union Fitness we provide Personal Training for all types of people with a variety of goals and needs. They range from:
Special Populations. For those that have special training requirements including those that are over 50, under 16, asthmatic, arthritic, osteoporotic, diabetic, obese, in rehabilitation, pregnant, have hypertension etc.
Sports Specific. For team sportspeople and individual athletes who strive to perform at their full potential in fields such as rugby union/league, AFL, soccer, netball, surfing, rowing, athletics etc.
General Population. For all those casual trainers in between who want to maintain their health and fitness in a fun and rewarding environment!
We also run Group Fitness Classes at Wallace Nicoll Park opposite The Alley and the carpark at Currumbin Beach. Classes are capped at 12 to ensure you are being closely supervised and assisted so bookings are essential.The classes are:
PunchFit - Partnered training (one person on gloves, one on punch pad/kick shield) which teaches you correct boxing and kicking technique in a safe and controlled environment.
CrossTrain - Circuit training using a variety of equipment and exercises including kettlebells, battling ropes, dumbbells, suspension trainers, gym rings, resistance bands, fit balls, torsonator.
Both classes will give you a workout that makes you fitter, leaner and stronger in no time! All gear is provided and classes are $15 (less for a Five or Ten Class Pass) with your first class free.
