For many years, Jeannette has run the Dog Whisperer, a popular boutique accommodation service for dogs in the beautiful green belt of the Byron Shire. She lives in the Shire with her beloved Siberian husky-German Shepherd cross, Benny, who is a very healthy, happy 16 year old.
Jeannette has always been interested in nutrition and alternative medicines for herself and has always fed Benny a healthy diet of fresh, natural organic food. She began to explore her own recipe of dog treats as a way to add nutritional supplements to Benny's diet.
After much experimenting, she has now perfected her recipe of hand-made dog treats.
It has been a great adventure, spending months testing and trialling different methods to get the treats just right, says Jeannette. Of course watching how much the dogs absolutely love them is the best part!
Now Jeannette is keen to share her hand-made organic doggie treats with other dog-lovers in Australia.
