My name is Ben Ferguson, and I am a photographer with a keen eye and a lot of photography books on my shelf. I have always had a passion for photography, always reaching for the 'guide to photography' instead of the latest novels in the library during my younger days in high school. But it wasn't until I got my first DSLR, the Canon 10D in 2008, from my Dad as a hand-me-down, that I really started to understand photography and engross myself in the field. Come 2012, Ben Ferguson Photography was launched; with my experience shooting for the school magazine I decided during Year 12 that the best time to make my move was here.
Now, three years later and two years into my Arts/Commerce Degree, I am shooting regularly for the Scotch College Music Department, Melbourne Youth Music, Clarkson's Shipping and countless smaller jobs ranging from headshots to weddings to product shots and so much more. With my degree coming to a close in 2016 and my major in photography challenging me at every step, I continue to push myself every day. I hope to expand my photography business even further taking on new and ever exciting contracts.
