KIRSTEN BOWERS: FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER
My passion is delving deeply into the spirit of my subjects. Through my lens, I explore, articulate and celebrate the unique beauty of animals, nature and the urban landscape.
WOLFCUB PHOTOGRAPHS
The primary focus of my work as a pet photographer has been my beautiful Belgian Shepherd WolfCub, with whom I share a deep spiritual bond. My photographs have earned him a worldwide collection of admirers who embrace his heroic beauty, grace of movement and mystical spirit. WolfCub continues to be a source of strength and inspiration to me, as well as to his fans, who appreciate his unique qualities and the way his essence is captured in my fine art photography.
PET PHOTOGRAPHY
My rapport, kinship and love of animals led to my work as a pet photographer. Through my lens, I reveal each pet's unique nature, articulating their movements, joy, humor and personality in a variety of settings. I understand that the relationship between pets and humans is a special one and that my photographs provide a lasting tribute to the unique spirit and personality of each animal, as well as to the love and bond that we share with our four-legged family members.
MY WORK
My work has been recognised with a variety of awards and exhibitions. Most recently, I have become a finalist for the prestigious Bowness Photography Prize. It is deeply rewarding to receive this kind of recognition for my fine art photography, but what is most important to me is the work itself. Whether I am training my lens on my beloved Belgian Shepherd WolfCub, exploring the glory and simplicity of a bird in flight, or capturing the spirit of a dog or cat in my pet photography, I always seek to articulate the true essence my subjects in a deep and meaningful way.
