Practice Principal Simon Hogg is an experienced Physiotherapist, with a diverse background in sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
He has worked extensively with elite professional sports including at the Sydney Olympic Games, Melbourne Football Club, Victorian Bushrangers Cricket team and Worcestershire County Cricket Club. He is the team physio for VAFA team Peninsula Old Boys Football Club.
Simon has also worked in major public and private hospitals in both Melbourne and the United Kingdom, and is currently the Allied Health Manager at Beleura Private Hospital in Mornington, and Peninsula Private Hospital in Frankston.
Simon has conducted research into muscle strengthening using electrical stimulation as part of an extensive thesis culminating in the awarding of a 1st class honours degree in 1995.
He holds a post-graduate certificate in Sports Physiotherapy and a post-graduate Master of Sports Physiotherapy degree at La Trobe University.
Karen Finnin graduated as a Physiotherapist from LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia, and has since completed a Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. With over 15 years working in Private Practice, Karen has extensive experience in managing spinal injuries, general sporting injuries and work related conditions.
Karen has travelled interstate and overseas with sporting teams, and has developed a number of education programs in fields such as core stability retraining, fit ball use, and injury management.
She has authored several books, including her latest titled �?¢??Before You Break�?¢??.
