Core Candy is a chic, New York inspired boutique fitness studio located at 349 Chapel Street, South Yarra.
Core Candy offers group Pilates, Barre and high intensity interval training classes that focus on core conditioning through flexibility, strength and cardio training. Small class sizes mean that clients will have close instruction while benefiting from the energy and inspiration of a group setting.
Barre: The Candy Core Barre class draws elements from ballet, Pilates and cardio dance, all set to popular and energetic music. Integrated into each class is the use of the ballet barre, light weights, therabands and other equipment. You'll walk out after this class with a skip in your step, glistening brow and the upstanding posture of a Ballerina.
Accelerate: Accelerate is Core Candy's signature high intensity interval training workout. This class consists of quick, intense bursts of exercise followed by active recovery which gets your heart pumping, boosts your metabolism and burns calories for many hours after you've left the studio. Accelerate incorporates cardiovascular and strength training with the use of springs, kettle bells, medicine balls, resistance bands and your own body weight.
Pilates: Pilates has long been a favourite with dancers and celebrities. Pilates develops strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and muscular endurance in the whole body. Core Candy offers classical Pilates mat and springboard classes. The springboard class incorporates the spring side of the Cadillac, fixed to the wall, and other fun props.
