As a qualified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) I provide specialist assistance with breastfeeding.
Mums and bubs may need support early on or with issues arising later, from common to more unusual breastfeeding concerns.
During your consultation (in your home, by appointment), I will take a comprehensive breastfeeding assessment, discuss your breastfeeding goals, assess bub for any oral restrictions, guide you with positioning and attachment, provide a written plan of what's been discussed if needed and be available for ongoing telephone support to meet your breastfeeding goals
A range of consultation appointments are available:
Antenatal - to discuss any concerns (1 hour) - $100
Postnatal - to assist you and your bub to achieve your breastfeeding goals (1 1/2 hour) - $150
I will provide support with all aspects of breastfeeding, including:
Optimising attachment
Nipple pain and damage management
Oral restrictions (tongue and lip ties) - assessment and management options
Expressing and alternative feeding options
Consultations include:
A written plan as required
Ongoing follow-up phone support
A follow-up visit can be booked if required
