Welcome to Winston Glades Early Education Centre & Pre-School. The centre is located in Flinders View, a suburb of Ipswich near Winston Glades Shopping Complex. We are open from 6.00am till 6.00pm 5 days a week 52 weeks a year (excluding public holidays). Our modern facility, opened in October 2003, caters for 99 children aged from 0 to school age. Our aim is to provide the highest standard of care to you, the families, as well as to the children who are within our care.
The centre boasts a new Emergent Curriculum which focuses on learning through natural curiosity, doing and self-directing, not through sitting before a teacher who imparts knowledge.
Our educators facilitate learning and extend as much as possible right there and then as the child's discovery unfolds.
As a result, children will develop a love for learning which will help them succeed in their future education. Their delight and spontaneous wonder should always be the first priority.
As security is one of our priorities, our centre has a security door coding system which allows for access of families to the centre via a pin code ensuring only those enrolled at the centre have access to the facility.
The centre celebrates diversity, welcoming families with different cultures and backgrounds. All room staff are Early Childhood qualified with the School Readiness room run by a Trained Teacher. All staff are required to have First Aid, CPR & Blue Cards and keep this updated. Our committed team is working to up-date their skills and knowledge and frequently attend in-service training and seminars held within the company and community.
