E-Data Management is a locally owned scanning bureau located in Marcus Clarke Street, Canberra City. E-Data Management specialises in offering solutions to government departments and professional services moving from traditional paper files to electronic records management.
Following the 'Digital Transition Policy' released by the Australian Government many organisations are transitioning their record keeping to electronic format for ongoing efficiency purposes.
The shift from paper filing to electronic records management has created a backlog of archived material needing to be digitised and indexed. E-Data Management was created to help manage this process.
WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU
Operating in a secure environment we provide customised solutions to meet your needs. We can deliver files in a range of commonly used formats from multi-page PDF, mix of colour and black & white and OCR (optical character recognition) for searching.
Our intelligent scanning machines capture, digitise and index document with the required level of metadata. The scanned files are bar-coded and batched for quality assurance and are suitable for upload directly into records managements systems like TRIM.

HR file scanning.
Level 1 indexing - Employee number (uniquely identifies the document for upload to TRIM)
Level 2 indexing - Forms within file (leave form, incident report form, etc)
Level 3 indexing - Chapters or sections of a particular form to be identified
The highly accurate indexing allows for the rapid retrieval of critical information.
