Hiclone is a Perth-based company manufacturing after-market devices to improve the performance of internal combustion engine. The Hiclone is retrofitted to the engine?s induction tract, causing the intake charge to rotate in a cyclonic fashion. This causes the intake charge to be burned more completely once it enters the combustion chamber, is compressed and ignited. The amount of unburnt fuel exhausted is correspondingly reduced. This process results in improvements to the engine?s performance, including greater power, reduced fuel consumption, smoother idling, easier starting, reduction in particulate emissions, quieter running and extended engine life.
The Hiclone is designed for use with carburetted, fuel injected, normally aspirated or turbo- or supercharged internal combustion engines, including bot petrol or diesel. The Hiclone requires no modifications to the standard engine, and does not entail the use of any chemical additive.
The Hiclone has no moving parts, and can therefore be depended upon to last for the lifetime of the vehicle to which it is fitted.
The Hiclone has won a number of international awards, including:
? Silver Award ? International Exhibition of Ideas and Invention and New Products ? Germany 1993
? Silver Award ? International Exhibition USA 1992
? Bronze Award ? 20th International Exhibition of Inventions and New Techniques & Products ? Switzerland 1992
? Academic Prize ? Inventions Festival ? Bulgaria 1991
