The idea of the concept is to share a table of 20 with friends and strangers and enjoy a friendly atmosphere with a three course set menu. Table For 20 holds "dinner parties" from Wednesday till Saturday and a booking is highly essential because of its popularity and the word of mouth that attracts more and more people. Venture upstairs from the quirky-cool Table for 20 restaurant – where diners sit at communal tables and pass around platters of food – and you’ll find Sticky, which is just as intimate and every bit as much fun. Open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 6.30pm, the bar offers a limited range of wines and Italian beers but, as the name suggests, the specialty of the house is the ‘sticky’, or dessert wine. You don’t have to eat at Table for 20 to drink at Sticky, though it’s certainly easier to find from the restaurant than via its unassuming entry in Taggarts Lane. Read more
