Established in 1913 (Dec 3rd) the Kings Hotel was built by John King who also established the township. He named the town after the first well he dug in the area. With an open fire and open country hospitality you have to stop and say G'day and have a cold beer and a look around the town. Enjoy the Pub food on weekends or use Bruce's Bush Telegraph to order a Burger from the Trading Post. Don't miss the folk festival the last week in February. From the kings you are central to the Bunyas, Coomba falls and the Palms National Park.
The Maidenwell Hotel offers budget accommodation in the form of single or twin rooms with shared facilities along with onsite camping areas with caravan access.
Our friendly and professional staff at The Maidenwell Hotel will do their best to ensure that the hotel meets your every expectation, no matter what the occasion.
