The Cricketers is out of the way, but once you visit, its charms ensure you will be back.
The Hole in the Wall is the colloquial name for this idyllic, inner suburban pub. It is the pub of everybody's dreams. A warmly lit, cosy pub with good beer and reasonably priced food of a modern, fine dining bent. The warm and convivial front bar is inhabited by actors and locals. The dining room is a cosy tribute to its Victorian-era heritage and very inviting. The newly renovated bars and bistro are a credit to good architecture and ideal for a lounge atmosphere. The beer garden is perfectly laid out for a lazy summer evenings imbibing and incorporates a barby.
