This venue has been designed as a home for original musicians to have a voice and to be heard! Grind n Groove owners, management and staff are dedicated because as their motto reads "From Little Things, Big Things Grow" they are passionate about music, the memories it creates and the impact they have made in the local australian music scene. They celebrate all genres and constantly rotate through Blues, Funk, Soul, House, Trance, Rock, Folk, Reggae, Roots, Indie, Hip Hop, Dance, Techno, Country, Disco and Jazz.
The venue offers its customers to drink and have fun with large groups of friends, and can also allow just a few of you to hide away in the corners for a quiet drink, the emphasis can be on loud laughs and dancing or intimate conversation depending on where you to choose to settle in for the night. The venue consists of two cosy rooms and a safe sheltered outside beer garden. The venue has a stage area in the front bar which highlights singers and bands that make their way to Grind nâ?? Groove.
This cosy little inner Melbourne style bar is almost hidden and lost in a Main street aligned with large old pubs and many shops and has been awarded numerous times for its achievements within the hospitality and music industry.
Once found, you step inside a colourful space lit with a soft glow of dimmed lighting and candles. Adorned with random trinkets, the vibrations of chilled rock and funky music are flowing through the sound system. Musicians, locals and tourists are often found seated in personal corners that have walls covered in photos and paintings. The interior keeps that air of mystery and includes a considerable amount of seating spread throughout the two rooms and the outdoor garden.
