Red Room Studios is located in Faulconbridge in the Blue Mountains, NSW just an hours drive from Sydney. Red Room shares its valley with the Norman Lindsay Gallery, the very same valley that inspired much of Norman Lindsays artwork and the childrens book the Magic Pudding. Red Room is a well equipped project studio that can cater to budgets and projects of all sizes from demos through to finished released product. Our aim is for the surroundings to inspire your music with either the log fire roaring in winter or the doors open on the balcony to record under the expanse of the Milky Way in summer. It can get a little Twin Peaks at times, so keep an eye out for the Log Lady.
The studio is based around an Avid Pro Tools 9 HD Native system running in a hybrid set up to incorporate the best of analogue and the convenience of digital. All formats are catered for: Cubase, Logic, Ableton, Digital Performer, Reason etc. on both Macintosh and PC. Parking is on site, the Norman Lindsay Gallery caf serves excellent coffee, meals and take-aways and accommodation can be arranged.
