Angorichina is a sheep station located 10 kilometres east of Blinman in South Australia’s Outback and covers 500 square kilometres of mountains, creeks, gorges and hills. The original homestead, built in the 1860’s and carefully renovated and extended into a comfortable guesthouse and home, forms the nucleus of the property. Within its thick stone walls is a world of calm and grace – music, flowers, books and antique furnishings surround you, while mouth-watering cooking aromas issue from the kitchen. There’s always something happening on a sheep station, and guests are welcome to join in whatever activities the Farghers have going on, from scenic flights and four-wheel drive excursions to station runs and sunset drinks in the creek bed. Guests can take part in seasonal activities such as sheep mustering and shearing, join Ian on a bore run, or perhaps visit the nearby famous Prairie Hotel.Angorichina is also ideally situated for those who want to explore the surrounding Flinders Ranges. Complete a day enjoying a “sundowner” on top of one of the many hills near the station to experience sunset over the incredible landscape.
