Cape Otway OceanLodge is custom built on environmentally friendly principles, relying on solar and wind generated electricity, to accommodate groups including large families, special interest clubs, bushwalkers and schools. Comfortable, modern facilities include a large wood fire, BBQ, and spacious central courtyard. The u-shaped building contains two separate wings with a mix of bunk style and double rooms. The large courtyard has tables and chairs surrounded by verandahs. Each wing of the building has its own toilet and shower facilities. Groups may elect to have sole occupancy of the complex for the duration of their stay. The recreation room has a pool table, large wood heater, games and a comprehensive library of books. A TV and video library are provided with a large range of videos to choose from. The large modern kitchen is well equipped with hot plates, oven, two fridges and all necessities. Staff rooms with two double bedrooms and smaller bunk-style accommodation with disabled toilets are available. Kangaroos, koalas, possums and bird life are abundant. Discover native vegetation like the Sheoak, Manna Gums, Myrtle Wattle and Banksia. Walking tracks, waterfalls and glow-worms are all found in the area.
