The Blue Wail Coffeehouse is not just a cafe... it's a community.
Blue Wail is the new coffeehouse in Blaxland. It is located at 4/5 Station Street, Blaxland. It opens out to the small park next to the IGA parking lot.
The Blue Wail nurtures a real and tangible sense of Community in the Blaxland village area. Our goal is to give fresh impetus to the image of Cafe.
We have introduced a more ancient version as found in cities across the globe - where the coffeehouse serves as an important social gathering place for communities to drink coffee or tea, listen to music, read books, play chess and so-forth.
The Blue Wail is a community focussed initiative. By focusing on community ownership and involvement, the Blue Wail creates a more positive vibe in the Blaxland village centre.
But that's not all we do. We serve fantastic locally roasted Coffee and delicious soups, salads, and sandwiches throughout the day and often late into the night too.
Ethically motivated purchasing drives us. If we can get it locally, from local farmers, local suppliers, local businesses, we will. Further, we travel the countryside to source free-range, hormone free eggs and chicken. We are constantly on the lookout for producers and suppliers who can guarantee us that their produce has been created using sustainable and hormone free farming practices.
Bottom-line is this. At the Blue Wail, you will find great tasting foods and coffee at realistic prices. You will find the atmosphere to be warm, inviting, and friendly. Feel free to stop by any-time, relax on the couch, throw the kids into the play area, put your feet up, jump on the free wi-fi, and have a chat with our fun and friendly staff.
