Sahara By The Park in Burwood has been established now for over 10 years. We have opened our doors in October 2000 with a clear vision of creating one of the Sydney's finest authentic Turkish cuisine. As the years have past Sahara has stayed in tune with their wonderful customers and tried to make them also feel a part of this beautiful restaurant.
Owned and operated by Omer and Ayfer Evran, our restaurant has been a focal point and definitely a point of interest for lovers of Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. Turkish food can be simple at times but can also be a work of art in many ways, with its fragrant spices, mouthwatering taste and bold use of color and textures. Many of the dishes from the restaurant are true recipes have been passed from generation to generation throughout centuries.
