This cafe attracts the beautiful people. Bursting with a mixed demographic - families with littlies, lots of cool, young things with interesting hairdos and laid-back thirtysomethings. The European Cafe is fairly small - two main rooms split by an arch, white walls with dark wood trim, full glass frontage to watch the people on The Parade, a big pizza oven giving off welcoming aromas and Sistine Chapel-type prints along the walls. Antipasto is a good shared entree with a nice selection of cold meats, pickled vegetables, olives, delicious pastry concoctions and whole mushrooms. Mains include penne al pollo with bacon, mushrooms, chicken and tomatoes in a cream sauce and pollo con verdura with panfried chicken breasts and hearty vegetables drizzled in pesto.
