Buonasera delivers a charming touch of Italian elegance in Glenunga. The dining room is warm and inviting, well-lit, with white linen tablecloths. soft background music and interesting artworks. The menu extends from old-style dishes, such as tripe and chicken livers, through to homemade pastas and a host of traditional veal, chicken, seafood and risotto dishes and, of course, osso bucco, prepared by three chefs with more than a hint of the old traditions. A shared plate of antipasto is good - cold meats, pickled vegetables, cheeses, olives, rockmelon and more. The risotto alla carmela is a piping hot dish laced with chicken, veal and a touch of chilli. The pasta dishes are the best of Italian cuisine - the delicious agnolletti is handmade pasta pillows stuffed with spinach, ricotta, ham and chicken.
