I know that when one thinks of jazz great Louis Armstrong the next thing that follows isn't usually traditional Malaysian cuisine, but at the Glen Waverly based 'PJ Malaysian Cuisine' restaurant the two are inextricably linked.
Armstrong and other greats faces adorns the walls while jazz music floats around the room amongst wafts of exotic Malaysian spices. Just looking at the tone the decor sets, it's not hard to understand why the restaurant has won a golden plate award six years in a row.
And after all that, the food's amazingly good too (order the butter prawns and you'll never stop thanking me).
