Richards Restaurant is a training restaurant for Kangan Institute's hospitality students, located at our Broadmeadows campus. The restaurant and its production kitchen serve as practical classrooms for students participating in cooking and/or food and beverage service programs, under the close supervision of qualified staff.
Richards Restaurant was named after Harold Richards, who was the inaugural Council President of Broadmeadows College of TAFE (in which Kangan Institute has its origins).
Richards Restaurant offers bistro, a la carte, table d'horte and buffet service. Our cosmopolitan-style menus change regularly to ensure customer satisfaction. We also run special theme days in which the cuisine of other countries can be sampled.
Recently renovated, Richards Restaurant offers a relaxed, fully-air conditioned environment, with indoor and outdoor seating for 50 seated or 100 standing.
Richards is also fully-licensed with a great range of Victorian wines.
