Situated in the heart of Fremantle, right on the popular cappuccino strip, The Monk is the ideal place to wander in, order an award winning beer and watch the brewery run. The brewery operates from the heart of the venue, giving patrons the opportunity to see and smell the brewing process in action. Head brewer, Justin, invites customers to stick their head in for a chat and a closer look. Beer lovers that want a little more can join in on one of the monthly run open brewery days ask questions and sample the ales. Brewery tours are designed to be informative but in a relaxed setting.
The Monkâ??s kitchen is open till late. Our head chef has created a menu to match the range of beers brewed on site. Youâ??ll find beer in the sauces, the breads, the meats and even in a dessert! The kitchen also utilise wort, yeast and spent grains throughout the menu, all fresh from the brew house. The Monk loves its beer and they donâ??t miss a chance to use it.
