At Kaneko Japanese Academy, we don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach to tutoring.
Instead, we focus on providing highly-personalised tuition, tailored specifically to each student's needs, in a fully immersive and engaging learning environment. Unlike the many coaching colleges around, we do not restrict students to inflexible, ineffective study programmes.
Each and every one of our students is not only encouraged to progress at their maximum potential, but actually pushed to do so.
Part of our unique approach to teaching involves the allocation to each student of their own native Japanese assistant tutor. This provides them with a highly interactive and therefore extremely effective learning experience.

Our specialty is tutoring HSC and high school students, but we also cater to JLPT, IB, adult and primary school students as well. In fact, to learn about Japanese language for pretty much any purpose, we can help you.
The majority of language colleges use non-native Japanese tutors, or worse still, university students, so that they can charge slightly lower fees. These practices are both against our beliefs. Our main focus is on quality. That's why our students get the best possible tuition and therefore the highest possible grades.
Our head tutor, Gloria Kaneko, is a native Japanese speaker and has over 16 years of experience tutoring Japanese language in Sydney. She is personally involved in tutoring and overseeing every lesson, ensuring that each and every student progresses as rapidly as possible.
