Located in the busy heart of the Sydney CBD, St Andrew's Cathedral School is an independent, coeducational Anglican school from Kindergarten to Year 12. The Junior School is a bright, semi-open plan learning space, while Middle School and Senior College students experience university-style lecture theatre classrooms, an in-house Black Box drama theatrette, individual and group practice spaces for musicians and a design centre with a host of innovative technologies. St Andrew's also has a before-and-after-school fitness centre, run by an elite athlete, an indoor basketball court and a rooftop playground overlooking the city, equipped with cricket nets, a play gym and basketball court. Gawura, a donation-funded school for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in K-6, is located in the Junior School.
