Why Rockhampton Girls Grammar School?
Rockhampton Girls Grammar School is one of the original eight Grammar Schools of Queensland and has been educating young women since 1892.
It provides girls from all backgrounds with access to a caring, safe, yet challenging, educational environment in which there is a good balance between academic, cultural and sporting activities.
Girls Grammar caters for the educational needs of young women from Prep to Year 12.
After School Hours Care is available, as well as a Vacation Care Program.
Boarders are accepted from Year 6.
Boarding facilities are excellent with individual rooms for Years 11 and 12 with monitored wireless and wired internet across the campus.
The School values its traditions, but appreciates the value of an innovative approach, with a Laptop Program for Years 4 to 12.
Class sizes are small, and individual differences and needs appreciated. Prep to Year 6 classes have a maximum of 20 girls.
