One College - Two Campuses
Morphett Vale Campus - Aldinga Campus
In the heart of the southern Fleurieu Peninsula
... every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. (Jn 15:2)
In September of 2010 Southern Vales Christian College celebrated 30 years of educating children Christianly. From humble beginnings, the College has grown to what it is today - an R-12 College of 700 students across two campuses.
We are truly blessed. Our staff are passionate and dedicated. Each one is a committed Christian with a calling to serve the children and families of the College. Our teachers are highly qualified in their particular fields of expertise and seek to offer a caring and safe learning environment for your children.
We see each young person as unique and made in the image of God. Senior school programs are tailored to the needs of each student and include pathways to both university and TAFE as well as into apprenticeships and employment. Academic achievement is highly valued, but equally so are godly character development, spiritual maturity, responsible citizenship and opportunities for leadership. Our goal is to produce graduates who go out into the world with passion, skills, confidence and enthusiasm.
Both campuses provide safe and engaging learning environments and an extensive and comprehensive learning program.
The facilities at both campuses continue to be developed. In 2012 we saw the completion of a Hospitality Trade Training Centre at Aldinga Campus. 2011 saw the completion of a new hall/gym and Science facility also at Aldinga thanks to funding from the Federal Government. Morphett Vale has a newly developed Resource Centre which was officially opened in early March 2010. The Senior Secondary Centre at Morphett Vale saw a major 'facelift' over the 2010 Christmas/New Year break.
We are excited about what God is doing in our College and we trust that you will catch some of that excitement.
