Korowa Anglican Girls' School is a proudly non-selective and inclusive Girls School in Melbourne and our focus is unswervingly on the individual as we believe this is the key to converting their potential into future success.
With classes from Beginners (3yo) through to Year 12 on our Glen Iris campus, Korowa is a Melbourne girls-only School beyond the Early Learning Centre years.
Being a K-12 school, we ensure that our educational programs are well-planned, sequential and age-appropriate at all stages of the learning journey. We also offer a rich co-curricular program that caters for the talents and interests of all, promoting the development of the whole person.
Our Anglican tradition is the heart of all we do, but we also recognize that we are a multi-faith community and value the beliefs of others. Small classes, especially in the early primary years, are imperative for sound development of literacy and numeracy. A broad curriculum allows students to explore their talents and to try new endeavours through their elective choices.
Our teachers' commitment in and out of the classroom provides consistency, stability and a strong understanding of the progress of each individual student. Each child is known and valued.
VCE students receive a great deal of individual attention, support and advice, which in turn, allows them to flourish. And we get results. Korowa's academic outcomes are consistently ranked amongst the highest in the State. After graduation, our students pursue a diverse range of university courses and careers, but they continue to keep their connection with the School as Korovians, no matter where they live, study, work or travel.
Since our foundation in 1890, the confidence and achievements of Korowa students have been demonstrated in a thousand different ways by generation after generation of girls who have been able to say, with pride: "I can. I will."
