Dream Entertainment Studios, formally Abstars is the alternative to the traditional ballet school; our teaching styles are up with current dance trends and cater for children 16 months to adults in a variety of dance styles. Our teachers are currently professional dancers in great demand in the commercial entertainment industry and many of our students are now earning an income doing what they love most - dancing!
Our styles are as follows:

- Jazz
- Hip-hop
- Contemporary
- Classical Ballet
- American style cheerleading as seen in, Bring It On
- Acro for Dance/Tumbling - a combination of acrobatics and flexibility. Learn cartwheels, walkovers, aerials, back flips etc.
Dream Entertainment students have performed at many events including most recently as The Carlton Cadets at the MCG performing before the Blues V Saints AFL game and in 2017 at the AFLW Carlton V Brisbane Lions match. The Late Mail Luncheon in 2013/15 raising money for Beyond Blue and in 2014 & 2015 and our dancers performed the opening act at Kid's Fashion Week - Little Runway.
In 2009, 2010 &, 2011 & 2012 & 2013 & 2014, 2015 & 2016 we won the State Hip Hop, Championships and in 2011 & 2012 & 2013 won National Championships and were selected to represent Australia in Hip Hop at the World All Star Cheer & Dance Championships in Orlando Florida in 2013. In 2016 our Open Hip Hop Team won not only the State Championships but also became Grand Champions and represented Victoria in the Australasian Pinnacle in Queensland.Principal of Dream Entertainment, Abby Meates has many years of professional dance and acting having appeared in numerous TV shows & Movies.
