Melbourne Barra farm and supply live Barramundi (Lates Calcarifer ), whole Barramundi and Barramundi fillets to the wholesale restaurant and aquarium markets, as well as direct to the public.
Our product is grown on site utilising high grade sustainable foods and controlled indoor growing conditions to provide the highest quality product available. The facility is currently producing approximately 50 ton of fish per annum.
Our Barramundi have a very high, evenly distributed fat content and are rich in essential fatty acids and omega oils. Fish texture is firm and the flavour is natural and slightly sweet.
Our fish are specially purged prior to delivery to enable safe transport and to enhance the texture and taste.
Live product sizes range from 600g (plate size) to 800g (banquette size).
