- Aged care and maintaining ones independence at home
- Adult disability including those with highly complex needs
- Medico-legal assessments, reports and ongoing treatment
- In-home functional rehabilitation
- OHSW including manual handling, ergonomics and disability access
Our Occupational Therapists can:
- Undertake Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments to maximise ones independence at home and in the community
- Eliminate potential fall hazards and enhance safety in the home
- Prescribe and arrange home modifications including the installation of access ramps and grab rails to showers, toilets or home entries
- Prescribe assistive equipment to enhance participation and independence in daily activities including showering, dressing, washing, cooking, gardening, domestic tasks and community access
- Prescribe aids and equipment to enhance mobility including walking aids, mobility scooters, shower chairs, toilet seat raisers, wheelchairs, electric lift recliner chairs, bed mobility items and electric beds
- Undertake specialised wheelchair seating and postural analysis
- Undertake manual person transfer assessments and plans
- Undertake pressure care management
- Perform in-home rehabilitation including stroke recovery
- Undertake workplace consultancies including manual handling training, ergonomic assessments and disability access
- Undertake medico-legal requirements including Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments, legally binding reports and ongoing treatment of compensable clients
