If you can't catch a feed of fish, you're not trying!The tranquil waterways are well worth exploring for some great unspoilt scenery. The historic butter factory on Mitchell Island and lovely old church are worth a cruise to, down Scotts Creek, opposite Croki. There are some lovely walks around the village and along the river. It is a totally quiet and peaceful location. The friendly locals provide a real country atmosphere.Taree and the Manning Valley have some wonderful art and craft galleries, cafes and country markets.
